We started off July with a bang after hosting our annual Simple Fun Family Festival on July 8th. We had an amazing turn out kicking off the festival with the bike parade followed by stunning performances by Ken Mair and Vasco D’Almeida with their live music as well as some added fun from EYES (U of R Educating Youth in Engineering & Science) and CC RezQ’s. There was a BINGO scavenger hunt, face painting, outdoor games and a bouncy castle kindly provided by KADER Kronau Fire and Rescue for all to enjoy. If anyone was feeling hungry The Smokin’ Cheese Lady and Pro Barbecue were also in attendance with their delicious goods. We couldn’t have pulled this off without our wonderful volunteers, supporters and visitors so a big thank you to all who participated in the event.
