My floral infinity design symbolizes the harmonious blend of European and First Nations cultures, which gave birth to the Métis culture. The name Métis stems from the Latin word “to mix,” which perfectly describes the cultural fusion that occurred. The infinity sign is a powerful symbol of eternal existence, signifying the enduring nature of Métis culture.
