Wow, what a weekend! 

Our annual Simple Fun Family Festival this past Saturday was an absolute hit! Although I am hidden in my cove and you couldn’t see me during the event,  it doesn’t mean I’m not listening and watching, and all I heard was boisterous laughter, cheers and words of joy. Thank you so much to everyone who attended!

Activities included a magic show, scavenger hunt, a live band, facepainting, games, puppies, and a bouncy house! So much to look at, where do you even start? Ah,  I winced at the mere sight of the bouncy castle. As much enjoyment as it appears the children are having, the thought of such erratic boundless energy makes my delicate porcelain frame shudder. I must say that my personal favourite activity of the day was viewing the little fur bundles of joy brought to us by CCRezqz. How cute! I had to hold myself back from stealing one for myself. 

As you probably know now, we have officially rebranded our museum. We are no longer the Kronau Heritage Museum. We are now the Kronau Marvelous Museum & Creative Corner. We are now officially open to the public for the summer!

Day after day and time after time, the mundaneness of the museum’s hustle and bustle is somewhat calming, but I must say that it is nice to have a new look around here. From my vantage point, I hear the busy shuffle of steps and the echo of the room. Some of you pause with perplexed, pondering looks while you admire our exhibits, and I can’t help but feel a sense of pride being here to witness it all. 

As I stand here observing you all walk through our doors, I admire that each of you carry a unique energy, a blend of curiosity, wonder, and sometimes even boredom. Even though I am a silent observer, I am happy to absorb the history and stories that these walls contain.
