Dear Readers,
Hello all, I am Jane. I am a mannequin. I was claimed by Rhonda Lamb in a Simpsons in downtown Regina in the 80s. For a while, I stayed in Rhonda’s studio, after which I was transported to the Kronau Museum.
You may recognize me from my starring roles in a few of our exhibits through the years, but I have since taken a step back from my fame. I am stationed in the Museum and spend much of my time as a close observer of the inner workings of my humble abode. These past few weeks, I had the pleasure of meeting our new summer interns here at the Kronau Heritage Museum. Makenna is the new Program and Outreach Coordinator and Maddy is the new Administrative Assistant. Although I’m a little bummed about having to share my space with two young’uns, I can confirm that they are hard at work getting our Museum ready for the Summer.
Despite not yet being open to the public, my humble abode is bustling with excitement and buzzing with the potential of our marvelous summer plans. We are so excited for the community to see what we’ve been cookin’ up!
Now, it is a bit tough to write with my porcelain fingers, but I promise you will be hearing from me again!
Till next time,
