This exhibit focuses on the story of grain and grain farming in Saskatchewan. It was put together with assistance from the Saskatchewan Hall of Fame, the Saskatchewan Archives and the Hudson Bay Company’s local history grant program.
It includes various sections including the farm story, the great depression, advancements in farm machinery, the history of the grain elevator and changes in the Saskatchewan landscape. It also holds a number of facts such as a farmers income within the last century, how much bread is made with a bushel of wheat and some notable Saskatchewan inventors.
